We make many bows so we would like to give our customers a guideline to be able to choose the most suitable
bow for themselves.

About the strength:
The strength of the bow is not equivalent of its efficiency. We make bows with bigger or smaller efficiency in
stronger or lighter design. It is very important to choose the most suitable draw weight. The stronger the bow
is the further it takes the arrow. But if the bow is too strong it will cause unneccessary strain.
For instance for a normal-built person a bow with 40# (between 35-40#) is enough if he uses it for hobby
or sport purposes. For women the most suitable bow is usually between 28-30#. For children we recommend bows
with 20# strength (these bows are measured on 25" not on 28" as the adult bows).
We recommend bows with about 60# strength for those who think about hunting. Our bows can be made between 20-120#.

About the sizes:
There is not always link between the bows’s length and the possible maximum draw length. Often a smaller
and shorter bow has bigger draw length variations than a bigger and longer bow. We measure our bows in the
aspect of draw length that they are suitable for an avarege height person, moreover they have got extra reserves.
Normally for a 180 cm height man approximately 29-30" draw length is the maximum.

About the bow types:
The customer should decide which bow type likes he or she the most: the modern or the more traditional bow?
The longbow (the English style flat wooden bow) or the eastern reflex bow?

About the design:
Most of the traditional reflex bows can be made in different finishes: base, extra I, extra II, laminated,
TRH laminated or extra III. The most faithful design is the extra III so-called composite. This is made of horn,
wood and tendon. The basic design is made of fibre glass covered with leather but sometimes it is made with
two or three other layers. The TRH laminated bow is made of special materials and wood.
The extra II bow is the mixtuure of composite and laminated bows. It consist of horn layer, wooden and
fibre glass layers and other special materials.
The question is what kind of bow, what kind of design shall the customer choose?
The laminated bows are light, fast, but they are not for beginners. The laminated bows’ life is the shortest
among the short reflex bows. The laminated bows are for those who compete or use the bow for hunting.
The TRH laminated design is more polished than the simple laminated design. These bows have strongly the shape of
“C” and it is difficult to string them, therefore we would recommend these bows for more experienced archers.
For beginners or for those who do archery as a hobby we recommend bows made with basic technology.
The new base bows have such a good efficiency that they are not behind significantly the laminated bows.
Moreover there are some basic tecnology bows that are better than their laminated version. These bows are
more heat-proof, long lasting and stable than the laminated bows. They can be used at competitions either.
The composite or extra III type is the best technology for the Monghol, Turkish etc. bows,
although these are more expensive and need more experience.
